BASTILLE DAY IN BISHOP ARTS

Each year on Bastille Day, Go Oak Cliff, a neighborhood volunteer-run organization, puts on an annual festival in the heart of the Bishop Arts District that celebrates Oak Cliff’s unique French roots. The French national holiday that celebrates the storming of the Bastille—a military fortress and prison—on July 14, 1789, in an uprising that helped usher in the French Revolution.

Bastille on Bishop is the perfect occasion to put on a beret, grab a baguette, and drink some wine with your friends on buzzing Bishop Street. The festival is free to enter, your only expense being what you choose to eat, drink or buy along the way. The local restaurants and shops put on their best pop-up experience for the occasion, and if you haven’t gotten to know all of our amazing tenants yet, this is the best way to explore everything Bishop Arts has to offer. Visit GoOakCliff for event FAQs.

We think everything at this event is worth experiencing, but if you can’t see them all, here are three pop-ups that you really can’t miss at Bastille on Bishop:
